Rajan Lail promoted to lead Kingfisher’s sales team for the British Curry Channel.
Kingfisher Beer Europe (KBE Drinks) has appointed Rajan Lail to the role of Field Sales Controller for the British Curry Channel.
Having joined the Kingfisher team in 2018, Mr Lail has become a well-known face among his customers in the South East and his promotion to Field Sales Controller comes following a major UK rebrand of India’s best-selling lager.
“I’m delighted to be stepping into the role of Field Sales Controller and leading the way for our brands within the British Curry Channel,” said Mr Lail, “2022 has seen a major step-change for our business, having given Kingfisher a long-awaited refresh, a huge drive in sales on our Peacock Exotic Cider and the introduction of our 5 Walla Chai Tea Liqueur to the market.”
On the latter, Mr Lail played a significant role in the development of 5 Walla, “Our new liqueur is the brain-child of mine and my colleague, Neil Patel. We pitched it to the innovation team earlier in the year and now it’s in the market! We’re over the moon from the response of our customers and we can’t wait to see it appearing in more curry houses up and down the country.
“What I love about working within the curry industry, is it’s one big happy family. I’m looking forward to meeting our customers around the country and helping them succeed.”
